In Greek mythology Eros was the god of love and beauty, but in Chinese it doesn’t translate so well so it is being called
Wing instead, in China. Powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, the Eros tablet will come with a 10.2″ touchscreen display at two resolutions – 1,024 × 576 or 1,366 × 768 pixels in 720p, 1GB/2GB RAM and 160GB/320GB Hard drive, depending on the configuration of your choice. Shared specifications also include 2 USB 2.0 ports, an SD memory card slot, Compaq Flash memory card slot, audio in/out, handwriting recognition and Windows XP running in the background although those who want to be more up to date can always settle for Windows 7. Shenzhen EROS Tablet weighs is a hefty 1.9 pound. Battery life is a low of 2 hrs per charge. No word on pricing or U.S. release, but it retails for the equivalent of $441 in China.
