The listed price starts at $499.00 for the basic 16GB Wi-Fi. Upgrades for 32GB and 64GB, with the Wi-Fi or the Wi-Fi + 3G, range upwards from $599 to $829.
The device is 9.56 inches in height, width 7.47 inches, 0.5 inch depth, and the weight for the Wi-Fi model is 1.5 pounds and the Wi-Fi and 3G model is 1.6 pounds.
The display is a 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch, with IPS technology, 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch, with fingerprint-resistant oleo-phobic coating.
The processor is a 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip.
