At Apple’s big media event held in San Francisco today rumors and speculations were put to a rest.  Steve Jobs displayed his “newest creation” formally named the iPad.  It was a sight to behold.  He was standing there all proud, just as a new father with his baby.  And, proud he should be, he displayed the new marvel with a crowd of the media and software industry waiting on the edge of their seats.  There was a hush in the room, everyone was holding their breath, waiting for the name to come out.  Steve did drag us through suspended time,  holding our attention on his every word.  Finally, he told us the name, applause abounded, then he went further on to detail what this baby could do.  We finally got to see it, looks to be the 10-inch screen that was rumored.  It is as rumored on most counts, it will have a web browser, it has the touch-screen we were all clamoring for, it is an e-reader, you can watch movies and play games on it.
It was all of what we were hoping and expecting.  Waiting for more information on everything that it can do, I am thinking it has more capabilites but they won’t all be hitting the net all at once.
